Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

GENERAL INFORMATION

Jurnal LITERALterbit dua kali dalam setahun. Secara edisi, nomor 1 terbit pada bulan April dan Nomor 2 terbit pada bulan Oktober. Tetapi secara naskah, LITERAL akan menerbitkan naskah per naskah dalam rentang waktu per edisi.

Sebagai jurnal dengan spesialisasi tema kajian pada issu-issu disabilitas (disability studies), LITERAL tidak menetapkan tema per edisi. Harapannya, siapa pun yang memiliki riset paling mutakhir dapat segera mempublikasikan hasilnya tanpa terikat tema.

LITERAL is published twice a year. The first number is published in April; and the second in October. LITERAL is published regularly to accommodate the publication of every current research. So, we don't have any special edition or theme in each publication.

NASKAH

Naskah yang dikirim hendaklah:

  1. Artikel adalah hasil penelitian, baik literer maupun lapangan.
  2. Merupakan karya asli penulis/bukan plagiasi. Bila republikasi dari skripsi/tesis/disertasi, cantumkan di acknowledgement.
  3. Artikel belum pernah dipublikasikan atau tidak sedang dikirimkan ke jurnal lain.
  4. Tema sesuai dengan cakupan kajian jurnal LITERAL.
  5. Abstrak dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia, masing-masing terdiri dari 150-200 kata,
  6. Panjang tulisan 4.000-7.000 kata.
  7. Memiliki minimal 20 referensi, baik yang berupa artikel jurnal ilmiah maupun buku dalam 5 tahun terakhir.
  8. Artikel diketik dalam format file MS-Word dan menggunakan template LITERAL yang dapat diunduh di sini
  9. Referensi diatur dengan mengacu kepada APA Style. 
  10. Penulis mencantumkan nomor whatsapp aktif di bagian komentar untuk editor bersama dengan artikel yang dikirim untuk memudahkan proses pengelolaan naskah.

BIAYA (ARTICLE PUBLICATION CHARGE)

  • LITERAL tidak mengenakan biaya kepada penulis atas publikasi tulisan mereka.
  • LITERAL does not charge authors in submitting, publishing and maitaining the publication of their works.
